The present Shipping Company formerly called as DURAI SHIPPING, Proprietary concern has been made a Private Limited Company wit Five Board of Directors with effect from 13 August, 1998. Late Sri T. ARUMAI DURAI, Proprietor of Durai Shipping and Sri S. SANTHANAM of Sattva Logistics are the two Principal Founder Directors of the above Company. Prior to the formation of the new Company, Durai Shipping was a Proprietary concern and this Company established their Steamer Agent activities in 1987. This Company had serviced more than 200 ships belonging to foreign and Indian Shipping Companies.   CFS – GUMMIDIPOONDI   M/s Durai Shipping and Services Private Limited has taken possession of 5.12 acres of land within SIPCOT Industrial Complex at Gummidipoondi for setting up a Container Freight Terminal. This project is likely to be completed by 31st March 2007
