Logistics Services - The core activity of the division is to carry on the business of establishing and maintaining container freight stations, warehouses, inland container depot, railway sidings, and to provide facilities for storage of cargo/commodities - import and export Projects completed and commissioned: The Company has obtained approval from the Ministry of Commerce, Government of India for setting up of the following projects, which have been commissioned in April 2000: a) Inland Container Depot with Public Bonded Warehouse at Pondicherry for handling Import/Export/Bonded cargo - Inaugurated on 10 April 2000. b) Container Freight Station with Public Bonded Warehouse at Tiruvottiyur, Chennai for handling Import and Export and Bonded Cargo - Inaugurated on 16 April, 2000. c) Inland Container Depot / Public Bonded Warehouse with railway siding at Melpakkam near Arakkonam Junction for handling Import and Export and Bonded Cargo vide Public Notice Nos. 6/2004 and 7/2004 dated 18.2.2004 - ICD operation and Public Bonded Warehouse operation within ICD. d) M/S Sattva Logistics Private Limited has acquired a property at Thondamanatham village to the extent of 1.25 acres and have constructed a warehouse of 30,000 sq.ft and presently handling import/export containers.
